During her singing career, she received many awards. Atthe age of 15, she became the first Pakistani to win the Filmfare Award. Shealso received Pakistan’s Civilian Award, Pride of Performance.
The fantastic star ispassed away after losing a hard battle to cancer on 12th August 2000. In an interview with The Express Tribune, her brother Zoheb spoke upabout her personal life, saying, “She Died in Pain.”
